CORE AGENDA
The U.S.- Nigeria Business Council (USNBC)’s core agenda is built around three interdependent issues:
- Establishment of linkages, policy input and advocacy to increase bilateral trade and investment between US and Nigeria;
- Interchange with the American Business community on the resources that abound in Nigeria, generating Trade, Tourism and Foreign investment in Nigeria;
- Promote awareness of Nigerian businesses, products and services to the United States marketplace.
MISSION
As the major business membership organization facilitating trade and investment between the United States and Nigeria, our mission is to:
- Drive economic vitality and development within and between the two countries;
- Be an information resource center for our members.
- Disseminate new business opportunities;
- Provide a strong and clear voice for the interests of businesses of all sizes across the United States and Nigeria;
With its extensive network and experience in Nigerian industry and commerce, the US-Nigeria Trade Council can quickly identify the right suppliers and provide quick answers to questions about Nigerian exports. The U.S.- Nigeria Business Council also assists US companies seeking to establish a presence in Nigeria.
Our Business Is Assisting U.S. and Nigeria Companies Build Successful Partnerships
The US-Nigeria Trade Relations is the premier US organization that assists US companies in identifying business partners in Nigeria. The Trade Council is also in constant dialogue with Nigeria companies to help them identify trade and investment opportunities in the US.
The U.S.- Nigeria Business Council provides ACCESS and NETWORKING (through trade missions, business development services, conferences, and seminars in both countries) as well as INSIGHT (through publications and industry sector reports) to members and non-member companies that want to pursue specific business activities in Nigeria and/or the US.
